I’ve spoken and written many times about how learning riffs is a great way to develop technique, rhythm and feel on the guitar.
There’s a riff that I like to give to almost all my guitar students (unless they’re more advanced). It’s very simple. It involves playing a simple quarter note pattern and it moves from string to string. It’s a great riff for coordinating the two hands together.
