Jazz Minor Scale – Theory, Keys and Modes for the Serious Jazz Guitarist

The Jazz Minor scale is contains a ‘flat 3’, relative to the Major scale. It is an incredible useful scale, because of the modes that are derived from it.

The Jazz Minor scale is essentially the same as the ascending version of the Melodic Minor scale.
