The A7 (A dominant 7) chord is one of the most popular chords. It is commonly played with the open A chord. Because it uses only two fingers, it’s actually an easier shape to play than the A chord. How to play the open A7 chord
- Place your 2nd finger on the 2nd fret of the 4th string.
- Place your 3rd finger on the 2nd fret of the 2nd string.
- Strum the first five strings.
