
Here are three ways to play the Bb chord (easy, medium and hard). The easy version is a three-string chord, played in the first position. The medium version is a root-6 barre chord, played on the 6th fret. The hard version the moveable C chord shape, with the first finger barring the first three strings of the 10th fret.
Easy Version (how to play)
- Place your 3rd finger on the 3rd fret of the 3rd string.
- Place your 4th finger on the 3rd fret of the 2nd string.
- Place your 1st finger on the 1st fret of the 1st string.
- Strum the first three strings (1st, 2nd and 3rd strings).
Medium Version (how to play)
- 1st finger barres all strings on the 6th fret.
- Place your 3rd finger on the 8th fret of the 5th string.
- Place your 4th finger on the 8th fret of the 4th string.
- Place your 2nd finger on the 7th fret of the 3rd string.
- Strum all six strings.
Hard Version (how to play)
- 1st finger barres the 10th fret (1st, 2nd and 3rd strings).
- Place your 4th finger on the 13th fret of the 5th string.
- Place your 3rd finger on the 12th fret of the 4th string.
- Place your 2nd finger on the 11th fret of the 2nd string.
- Strum strings 5 to 1.
